Odede is a photographer and cinematographer based in Nairobi, Kenya, whose work blends fashion, cultural storytelling and memory.
From a young age, he used the camera as a tool to see and share the world, driven by a desire to tell stories that often go unseen and to present Africa beyond familiar narratives. Rooted in a contemporary African perspective, his work explores themes of identity and the ever-shifting cultural landscape, reframing representation within both local and global contexts.
Inspired by the richness and diversity of African cultures, he strives to capture their beauty and depth.
His collaborations span local and international brands, including Nike, Byredo, Daily Paper and Art Basel, with recent work featured in an exhibition in Essen, Germany.
