Born and raised in Cape Town, Romi studied Art Direction at AAA school of advertising. Thereafter she worked for a leading South African clothing brand as an Art Director and designer before pursuing photography full time.
Her career launched in 2009 after winning the Levi's Campaign through King James advertising agency and she thereafter continued shooting their campaigns for 2 years.

Romi specializes in Lifestyle Advertising, Fashion and Childrens' photography.

Her recent international clients include Prima fashion magazine UK, PSB Russian Bank, Yo Juice Austria, Le Petite magazine US, A&E Magazine Dubai, Sainsbury UK, Richner and Amplifon Switzerland. In addition she also had great pleasure in shooting the portrait of Wilbur Smith for the Daily Mail UK. Her local shoots include Huggies, Alan Gray, Truworths, Ackermans, Edgars, Marie Claire, Oprah, Cosmo and Royco.

Romi's natural approach and ability to capture real emotion combined with her deep understanding of moodboards projects in her unique images.
